Everest training in Chamonix

This weeks Chamonix training has gone extremely well. The weather has been unseasonably wintery with over 1m of fresh snow fall above 2600m. Monday was spent rock climbing and abseiling followed by our first treck to Orney Hutt at 2831m. We stayed here over night in a basic but comfortable mountain hutt. On Tuesday we …
