Oversleeping just got more difficult

This Christmas, households all of the UK will be waking up to the booming, loveable tones of our national treasure Brian Blessed!

A unique iPhone alarm clock featuring over thirty uniquely recorded Brian Blessed wakeup calls has been launched by the same team that brought you Brian Blessed on TomTom.

The alarm calls cover a range of moods from the inspirational to the downright silly. Whether Brian is going to encourage you to “Stiffen the Sinews and Summon up the Blood”, berate you for your tardiness, tell you a joke or sing you a song, is as predictable as Brian himself. Many of the alarm calls involve shocking misuse of the works of Shakespeare!

The beautifully drawn analogue clock features a Sun/Moon dial, Moon phase dial, random sample alarms, a Vedic mantra to send you to sleep, Brian on a Rocket and a choice of alarm styles.

10% of proceeds from the Brian Blessed iPhone alarm app are kindly being donated to Walking with the Wounded.

Edward Parker comments: “Proceeds from the iPhone alarm clock app will help support our 2012 Everest fundraising challenge. We know that both the journey and the cause are close to Brian’s heart and it’s great to have his support.”

Brian Blessed met with Walking With The Wounded in September this year and has pledged his support to the upcoming Everest expedition. Brian has attempted to climb Everest himself and is the author of several books on the world’s highest mountain. Amongst other things, he will be meeting the expedition team for an afternoon of mountaineering stories and Everest history prior to their departure.

The Brian Blessed iPhone alarm clock costs £1.99 and is available on the iTunes store now.
