Walking With The Wounded lights Jubilee Beacon

A team from Walking With The Wounded were honoured to be invited to light the Jubilee Beacon on the top of Mt Snowdon, the highest peak in Wales, and took part in this historic beacon lighting relay which covered the length and breadth of the UK on Monday 4th June. The Queen completed the chain by lighting the final beacon outside Buckingham Palace.

David Wiseman, one of the team who lit the beacon, said, “It’s a great honour to be involved in such a historic occasion. Lighting the beacon on Snowdon will be a great way to celebrate Her Majesty’s Diamond Jubilee”.
