  • WWTW | July 16, 2012

Between the 25th and the 30th July 2012 an expedition team from Devon Army Cadet Force B Company will walk the length of Hadrian’s wall on the border between England and Scotland in order to raise funds for Walking with the Wounded.

Edward Parker, Co-founder of Walking With The Wounded, has said of the team of cadets, “What a wonderful trek this will be. We’re delighted that they have chosen us as their nominated charity and we are truly grateful for their support”.

This is an expedition of some 80 miles and cadets taking part have been required to participate fully in a training and selection program between February and June 2012. Capt David Wiseman, who was part of the recent Everest 2012 expedition said, “it’s great these these young men and women are taking on this challenge. It’s a great cause, so I’d like to thank everyone involved on behalf of the Everest 2012 team. I look forward to hearing of your successful completion of the trek at the end o the month”.
