Support the 5990 Challenge

Walking With The Wounded supports and funds a number of rehabilitation projects which re-skill and re-train wounded service personnel following often horrendous and always life-changing injuries.

Several members of the Walking With The Wounded Trois Etapes Cycle Team have benefitted from these projects, as have members of the Everest and North Pole expeditions. The 5990 challenge aims to raise £5,990 – £1 for each of the metres climbed during the gruelling three day Trois Etapes challenge.

This is your chance to say ‘thank you’ to those who serve us and make huge sacrifices in the line of their duty.

The reason these young men and women contribute physically to this charity is not for publicity or  media adulation – far from it. It is in the hope of encouraging and inspiring others to raise or donate funds so that the current and future wounded get all the support and help they need and deserve.

Even the smallest donation can contribute to giving a wounded serviceman or woman a better quality of life.
