The event has meant a lot to Don, as cycling has been a big part of his rehabilitation. A year ago Don was in the Queen Elizabeth hospital recovering from his injuries, a year later he was on the top of the Alpe d’Huez having cycled up 3 massive peaks.
Don felt it was important to give something back and try to help those wounded servicemen whose injuries are far more severe than his own. Trois Etapes was a chance to raise money and awareness to support wounded servicemen who require long-term help to deal with their injuries.
Don and the team did the hard work, cycling 311 km in 3 days, now all you have to do is donate.
