Runner needed for London 2013 Marathon

Walking With The Wounded is proud to support four runners in this year’s London Marathon that will take place on the 21st April 2013.
They will be setting out on the 26 mile course around London in aid of Walking With The Wounded this spring, and their training has already started. Don’t miss out, there is still a chance for you to take part in the largest annual fundraising event on the planet. Walking With The Wounded is still looking to find a fifth runner to help in raising a minimum of £3,000.

The place will be allocated on a first come first serve basis, however the amount an individual feels they can raise will play a part in making a decision. The allocation of the final place will be made by 10am tomorrow morning, Wednesday 6th of February.

Three of the marathon runners will be given the chance to have a day’s training at the RFU head quarters at Twickenham Stadium on Sunday 3rd March 2013, to visit the iconic stadium, run out of the tunnel on to the pitch and have their photo taken in the England dressing room, whilst receiving some fantastic tips for training and fundraising!

To find out more about running the 2013 London Marathon to raise funds for WWTW and have a chance to take part in a day of training at the RFU head quarters in Twickenham please contact Andrew Cook: 01263 863900 or andrew@wwtw.org.uk.

Thank you, your efforts really do make a difference.…and the very best of luck!
