Walking With The Wounded Training for South Pole Allied Challenge on BBC

BBC’s security correspondent Frank Gardner went to Iceland during one of the worst storms anyone in the country can remember. In this video he talks about three teams of injured servicemen and women from around the world battling the bitter cold in a taster of what to expect later this year in the Walking With The Wounded South Pole Allied Challenge.

The expedition will raise funds to support the charity’s central aim: to fund the re-training of wounded service personnel and assist them in acquiring the skills and qualifications necessary to find new careers outside the military.
