Walking With The Wounded Returns To The Alps

We are proud to announce that, for the second year running, Walking With The Wounded will be fielding a team at the gruelling Trois Etapes cycle race.

Trois Etapes is an arduous pro-am cycling race which will take place at the end of July over three stages of the world-famous Tour de France. Race organisers are building on the huge successes of last year and once again aim to raise over £1 million for a range of charities. The video below will give you and insight in to what a fantastic charitable event the Trois Etapes really is.

“We’re delighted to enter a team in the Trois Etapes 2013 pro-am cycling race. Last year was a wonderful experience for the charity; a great platform to raise funds. In addition, we were exposed to the cycling community which actually attracted a whole new demographic of supporters. In 2012 we engaged with some fantastic sponsors and equipment partners who were very supportive and really understood what we do as a charity: equip wounded servicemen and women with the skills required to enter civilian employment.”

Fergus Williams, Operations Director, Walking With The Wounded
