LDC Trois Etapes Walking With The Wounded

Walking With The Wounded delighted to have the support of LDC for another year

We are delighted to announce that LDC has pledged its support of the Walking With The Wounded Trois Etapes Cycle Team for a second year and will be the lead sponsor for 2013. Following our partnership with them at last year’s event, LDC will be joining us in the Alps the year. which is expected to raise over £50,000 for Walking With The Wounded.

“At LDC we’re delighted to be supporting such a great charity in the forthcoming Trois Etapes. Having worked with them last year, we quickly grew to admire the work they do and, of course, see the huge difference it makes to people’s lives; the team last year was made up of guys who had seen the benefits of the funds raised by Walking With The Wounded.”

Rob Pendleton, Marketing Director, LDC

The relationship with LDC is vital to ensuring the success of this fundraising initiative. Their support in terms of both funding and logistics ensures that all race costs are covered and all money donated goes directly to fulfil Walking With The Wounded’s key objective: the retraining of wounded service personnel, so that they are equipped with the skills required to find long-term civilian employment.

Of course, we are hugely proud to be working with LDC and delighted that they have returned to partner with us for the second time in as many years. If you wish to read more about the great charitable community work carried out by LDC then visit their Community Activity blog.
