11 Year Old Pupil Katy Nicol is Walking the Thames Path for Walking With The Wounded.

11 year old Katy Nicol, a pupil at Pembridge Hall School, is raising funds for Walking With The Wounded by walking the Thames Path from Hammersmith Bridge to Hampton Court on Friday 28th June.

All students in year 6 at Pembridge Hall School were given the opportunity to do the walk and were encouraged to choose the charity they wanted to raise money for.

“I chose Walking With The Wounded mostly because my godfather, Harry Taylor, was helping some of the soldiers train in France for climbing and skiing Denali. I met them and I thought they were really amazing. I also chose it because I think it is really important for people, after they have had life changing injuries, to get out and do something instead of moping around at home.”Katy Nicol

Good luck Katy!
