Mark Beaumont, leader of the Walking With The Wounded team for the Trois Etapes 2013 cycle race just came back from a cracking 50 miles ride in the Highlands of Scotland.
Listen to his updates on the build up to the race, as he talks about his new “Ferrari”:
“This year I will be riding a brand new bike which is the Koga Signature with new Di2 (Digital Integrated Intelligence) gearing, which is the electronic gearing, this is the first time I’ve used it and definitely worth getting some miles in before I head out to the Alps,. Really, really excited to try a bike like that. That’s my own sort of Ferrari in the bike world, so this amazing kit that turns up in the alps for the Trois Etapes, whether it will actually make me go any faster or not who knows, but the placebo effect is certainly there.” – Mark Beaumont
