The Official Departure Event for the Virgin Money South Pole Allied Challenge

With less than a week to go now till our three Teams depart for the South Pole for the Virgin Money South Pole Allied Challenge, Thursday sees Walking With The Wounded take over Trafalgar Square, London for our Send-off Event.

Bringing the Antarctic to Trafalgar Square, we will be creating our own Polar camp complete with yurt, pulks, skis and expedition gear, as we invite a whole host of media and press alongside many of the expedition’s sponsors to join us at this iconic London spot. The event will give guests the chance to interact with all those involved in the expedition including our esteemed teams: Team Glenfiddich, Team Noom Coach and Team Soldier On.

The event will also see the unveiling of the Official Virgin Money Endeavour Trophy which will be awarded to the winner of the race.

We are excited to be welcoming both Expedition Patron, Prince Harry and Honorary Team Soldier On Member, Dominic West to the event, as they join their teams.

Unfortunately this is NOT a public event, but you can still enjoy the action by watching the live stream that will be broadcast from Trafalgar Square from 11.30am GMT.

Please click here:  to watch the live stream at 11:30am GMT on Thursday 14 November 2013. This page will also give you the opportunity to make a donation to support the work of the charity in re-training and re-educating wounded service personnel.
