This week Sarah Moriarty and Lara Babalola from the Noom Coach team in Berlin, Germany, walked across Berlin to support our Christmas campaign, Walking Home For Christmas.
The campaign supports ‘Our’ veterans who don’t have a home to walk to this Christmas. All the money raised go towards our Home Straight programme which focusses on supporting wounded, injured and sick veterans who have become homeless and getting them back into work.
Noom Coach is a health app that focuses on habit change to help people to live healthier. They are a great supporter of the charity having sponsored the US Team in our Virgin Money South Pole Allied Challenge last year.
Sarah Moriarty, Noom Coach UK Lead, said: “Normally, during the Winter, my Noom pedometer is looking a little sad. But today, I have 9,973 steps as I walked home from our office in the centre of Berlin. Feeling great and happy to help support the wonderful work of Walking With The Wounded.”
Lara Babalola, UK Content Manager, said: “Baby, it’s cold outside! But we’re delighted to help out Walking With The Wounded.”
Noom Co-Founder Saeju Jeong said: “We are always happy to collaborate with WWTW. The determination and courage of these wounded servicemen and women can inspire all of us to make positive changes in our lives.”
We at Walking With The Wounded are hugely grateful to all the support Noom has given the charity in the past and continues to do so.
Do check out the photographs below which outlines Sarah and Lara’s story.
How many steps?! Sarah is pretty happy with her Noom pedometer reading!
