Coxless Crew arrive in Hawaii

Coxless Crew hit Hawaii

Hands together please for the ladies of the Coxless Crew who have completed the first leg of their remarkable Pacific row.

67 days after setting off from California and despite mechanical set backs, despite unfavourable winds, storms and currents, the Coxless Crew have completed the first leg of their row across the Pacific.

They are rowing in aid of Walking With The Wounded and Breast Cancer Care and you can read all about their incredible adventures in their daily blog.

Have a look at the map on their website which has charted their progress and daily mileage to Hawaii and when they depart to Samoa. They’ve been backed by Kylie Minogue who has been spreading the word on twitter about the lady’s achievement.

There are more photos and videos on the Coxless Crew facebook page – with a particularly revealing one of them staggering ashore after 67 days at sea trying to find their land legs, underlining the difficulty of what they are undertaking.

How can you support the crew and their fundraising? Donate direct and/or ‘Buy a mile’
