An Indian Adventure

Three intrepid WWTW fundraisers will be travelling 2,500 km across India in an autorickshaw in the New Year

Daniel, Chris and Rod (otherwise known by their team name, ‘For Quinine and Country’) will be braving hills and floods as they endeavour to travel across India in January, as part of The Ricksaw Run event.  Top speed of an autorickshaw is a steady 40 mph, and they have two weeks to travel 2,500 km, raising money for Walking With The Wounded.  The recent film night they arranged at The Savile Club raised nearly £500 for the charity, due to the generous support of The East London Liquor Company.

The evening couldn’t have happened without the generosity of T-Bar Films, The Sugar Mountain Film Team, Rhys Morgan Images and Ben Finney who provided the films shown on the night free of charge.
