England rugby star Chris Robshaw to support WWTW during his Testimonial Year

We’re thrilled to have been chosen by Chris Robshaw as one of the charities close to his heart for his Testimonial Year, alongside Canine Partners and the Teenage Cancer Trust.

Last night CEO & Founder Ed Parker joined Chris at Coutts on the Strand for the launch.  We are looking forward to the events happening throughout the year to celebrate one of the most admired men in world rugby.

Ten years on from Robshaw’s debut for the Harlequins, he’s established himself as one of the greatest figures in the game, and led our nation as captain. To celebrate this momentous set of achievements, the Testimonial Committee aims to raise money his chosen charities, and give something back to the rugby community.

On the launch of the Testimonial Year, Robshaw said: “My genuine thanks to the Chris Robshaw Testimonial Committee and all those involved. As well as being a momentous year in my sporting life, these events will also benefit the Teenage Cancer Trust, Walking With The Wounded, and Canine Partners to make a real difference”.

As part of the Chris Robshaw Testimonial Year, the committee is hosting a number of dynamic, bespoke events to involve the entire rugby community and make a great difference to Chris’s chosen charities.

Robshaw’s Testimonial Events Calendar:

  • Shoot with Robshaw, West Wycombe Estate, April 2016
  • Goodwood with Robshaw, Goodwood, May 2016
  • The Chris Robshaw Festival of Rugby, Twickenham Stoop Stadium, August 2016
  • Robshaw Touch Rugby Series, London, September 2016
