Fundraiser Friday 05/02/2016

Without all of our amazing fundraisers we wouldn’t be able to support vulnerable veterans. To highlight your hard work we are sharing your events and expeditions each Friday to say thank you! Here are a few of the wonderful events you have organised for the coming months:

Paul and Kayte Kelly
Paul is currently preparing to run the London Marathon for WWTW in April and as part of his fundraising for the event has organised a fantastic Charity Race Night with his wife Kayte. The Race Night is taking place at Oake Manor Golf Club on Saturday the 19th March at 7pm. Tickets for the evening are £15 and this price includes a delicious hot buffet dinner! For more information, or to support Paul visit his fundraising page:

Ozama Iqbal
Ozama, a member of the 1172 Esher Squadron Air Training Corps has kindly organised a fun mufti day at his school for all of the students and teachers! Everyone will pay £1 and all proceeds from the day will go to WWTW. Furthermore, he has also been conducting assemblies to different year groups at his school to raise awareness of the charity, which is simply brilliant!

Helena Murphy
Helena will be holding a ‘massage marathon’ at St Simon’s Church in Southsea on the 20th February, very generously in aid of WWTW. A team of physical therapists and sports massage therapists will be travelling down to Portsmouth to offer professional 15 minute treatments for a minimum donation of only £6. For more information email Helena at
