Military Wives release song by West End Composer to raise funds for Walking With The Wounded

The Chivenor Military Wives (the original choir formed by Gareth Malone as part of the BBC series ‘The Choir’) have released a song called ‘YOU MUST BE STRONG’ to raise funds for the UK charity Walking With The Wounded, which helps re-train those wounded serving their country, and provides support to them in finding careers outside the military.

‘YOU MUST BE STRONG’ was written by Stuart Brayson, who wrote the West End musical ‘From Here to Eternity’ with Sir Tim Rice.

Stuart Brayson commented: “I am delighted that The Chivenor Military Wives have recorded this song to raise funds for Walking With The Wounded, and in doing so, have brought their own respective experiences to reinforce the words and emotions of the song. I know that my mother would be overjoyed as she was also a military wife. My dad was in the Coldstream Guards and served out in Palestine in the late forties.”

‘YOU MUST BE STRONG’ (produced by Graeme Duffin of Wet Wet Wet) is available to download now from iTunes, Amazon, and all major online platforms.
