Members of eight Norwich-based Co-op funeral and food stores have made Walking With The Wounded one of their chosen charities. Every time members buy Co-op branded products and services, 1% of their spend goes to these chosen charities.
The Local Community Fund appeal, which has already raised £1136.88 for WWTW’s Project Nova, has now been extended to April 2017.
Co-op Community Representative Neil Vincent said: “New members receive a 5% reduction on selected products. Of that, 1% income is allocated to the charities they choose to support.”
He added: “WWTW was specifically picked by our members because of the fantastic work and support it gives vulnerable veterans in the local area. This fits in perfectly with our commitment to our community and is in line with true Co-op values.”
