Karl Hinett’s life changed forever in 2005 when, as an 18-year-old soldier, his Warrior armoured vehicle was firebombed. Karl received burns to 37% of his body but he made a full recovery and has taken part in numerous events with Walking With The Wounded, including climbing the Matterhorn, one of the largest mountains in The Alps.
While training for the climb, Karl said: “I always find that no matter the type of race or activity, I always at some point struggle. But it’s the moments that you pursue through that yield the greatest experiences.”
Go on – do something amazing.
