Nick Russell and his team mates from the Norfolk Constabulary Peelers Cycle Club are biking from London to Paris on July 11-13 to raise funds for WWTW. Their 3-stage journey takes them from London to Dover, Calais to Amiens and Amiens to Paris. On July 13 the Peelers will visit the Commonwealth war cemetery at Namps-au-Val to pay their respects to Lieutenant Gordon Flowerdew VC, commander of C Squadron, Lord Strathcona\’s Horse, who died of his wounds following the battle of Moreuil Wood on the 31st of March 1918. Lt Flowerdew, who was born in Scole, Norfolk was schooled at Framlingham College Suffolk. The Peelers will lay wreaths on behalf of Norfolk and Suffolk Constabularies. Thank you Peelers!!
