Ride of Respect: Ring of Red M60

November 9, 2014 @ 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

Grab your leathers, don your helmet and join in a unique event for bikers on Remembrance Sunday

The organisers of the Ride of Respect are aiming to form a circle of bikers, dressed in red, riding clockwise around the M60 motorway outside Manchester on Sunday 9th November – making the biggest Poppy in the World.

The ride is intended to present a physical show of support for our Armed Forces, both current and previous. A remembrance service for bikers.

The Ring of Red event was an idea by Julia Stevenson, a well known and respected biker who also co-organises the Ride of Respect Rideouts.    Julia is also the founder of the annual Lee Rigby Memorial Ride to Woolwich and is assisted by a team of admins who help organise the different events.

It is a non-profit event and all the monies raised from donations this year on the M60 ride will go to Walking With The Wounded.

A sister event is being staged on the M25 on the same day.
