Zig Zag Bike Ride

May 27, 2012 @ 5:48 pm

year 7 pupils at Northcote Lodge School, which is supports WWTW, and after hearing about your expeditions we wanted to do something to help. So we have decided to do a bike ride from Hampton Court Palace to Tower Hill. We chose this because they are Royal Palaces and servicemen and women serve Queen and country. We might even stop at Buckingham Palace on the way.>
> We\’re doing the ride on Sunday 27th May and have called our route \”The Thames Zig-Zag\” because we are zig-zagging the river, travelling along the river bank but crossing every bridge we can along the way. It means we will cycle almost 30 miles and cross 21 bridges!
> Obviously we will be doing some training beforehand, going out on longer and longer rides, but this will be the longest one either of us has done. We will have our Dads coming along with us, to carry the gear, take photos and get so red faced and out of puff they make us look good.
> We hope we will raise at least £1000!
