Hello everyone, this is Karl Hinett from the Walking With The Wounded Everest team. We’re currently a few days into our Base Camp acclimatisation and today, just before lunch, we went out and did a bit of training. We did a bit of ice climbing, which was pretty fun. It was really tiring but it was good to get a bit of experience.
So far the team is looking really well and really strong. Upon our first day coming up to Base Camp a few of us felt the altitude a little, but we’re all pushing on. And like I say, we’re all looking really strong and within the next few days we’ll start moving so we can make an ascent on Lobuche.
Thanks for following us all so far and all being well we’ll keep you updated. Bye!
