Sponsors

Our expeditions are wholely funded by the generosity of some amazing sponsors. Their support means that every charity donation goes to supporting our wounded soldiers and the programmes which we fund. Our expeditions are staged to raise awareness of the charity and its work, helping us to raise more money in the long run for those who need our help.

Thank you to the following organisations…

Glenfiddich

Glenfiddich

In the summer of 1886, Glenfiddich founder, William Grant, set out to fulfil a lifelong ambition of creating the ‘best dram in the valley’. With the help of his seven sons and two daughters, William built his distillery in a single year. Their hard work was rewarded on Christmas Day 1887 when the first drop of spirit flowed from the small copper pot stills. William built his distillery in the small Highland village of Dufftown and named it Glenfiddich after the Gaelic for ‘Valley of the Deer’. The Speyside distillery is little changed since it first started producing whisky almost 125 years ago. Glenfiddich is one of the few single malt distilleries to remain entirely family-owned and its whisky has become the world’s most awarded single malt*, a true reflection of the passion, integrity and innovative spirit that have been passed down through the generations. At the 2011 International Wine and Spirits Competition, Glenfiddich received gold medals for every single whisky in its core range from 12 to 40 year old.
