Create a JustGiving page and take donations online
JustGiving™ is fantastic online donation site that is completely secure and offers Gift Aid for donations. You can create your own fundraising page on JustGiving™ by clicking on the link: http://www.justgiving.com/walkingwithwounded/Raisemoney
JustGiving™ also have some great tips on making the most of your page.
Social Networking
Social network sites like Facebook, Twitter and even Linkedin are a great way to promote your fundraising activity to friends and family. Update your profile with a Walking With The Wounded supporter’s profile picture. Facebook
Appeal to your friends on Facebook to support your fundraising activity. Post onto your Facebook page from your Just Giving Page. Simply log into your Just Giving Account and go to “Your Pages” to find the “Publish to facebook” link.
Don’t forget to “like” Walking With The Wounded on Facebook too so we can share your posts.TwitterTweet to your followers abut how much money you’ve raised and your progress. Try the Justtweeting app to automatically tweet about your donation totals. Dont forget to tag@supportthewalk in your Twitter feeds so we can retweet your great twitter posts.
