Day 13, Newcastle.
Today we’ve walked into Newcastle, I’ve never been there before but so far it has proved to be a very fascinating and scenic city. At midday, we were welcomed at a huge event at the Virgin Money HQ in Gosforth which involved a Q&A session, that was quite daunting but character building, and it felt good to complete it.
We left there and then headed to the Northumberland Street Virgin Money Store, everyone there was very friendly and welcoming. From there we went on to Starbucks on Neville Street to meet some Veterans who have taken on employment there.
Today has been very much about the sponsors, lots of events so it’s been a shorter walk, which was good as we all needed it to be honest!
