A group of students from West Suffolk College were due to take on the 3 Peaks Challenge in April this year. Unfortunately due to Covid-19 their trip had to be cancelled.
The students weren’t deterred though and decided to make it a virtual challenge instead, the “At Home 3 Peaks Challenge”.
The challenge normally involves climbing the three highest peaks in Scotland (Ben Nevis), England (Scafell Pike) and Wales (Snowdon) all within 24 hours.
The students made the decision to complete the equivalent distance from home by climbing their stairs 1474 times or running in their garden for 23 miles.
THANK YOU for your perseverance, determination and grit for completing this and raising valuable funds for the charity.
