The Grenadier Walk of Oman 2021 (Reimagined in the UK)

In October 2021, a team of wounded serving and ex-military took on The Grenadier Walk of Oman, of which The Duke of Sussex is the Expedition Patron, walking 350km from Pen-Y-Fan in Wales to the Anglo Omani Society in London. The team were due to cross the Omani desert, however, due to the global pandemic, they crossed the UK, walking the equivalent distance of 10 marathons in 12 days, to raise funds and awareness for Walking With The Wounded’s employment, mental health, care coordination and volunteering programmes supporting veterans and their families to get back on their feet and contribute in their communities once more.

Huge thanks to Phil Vickery, celebrity chef and former England Rugby player, for meeting the team and offering some words of advice.
