Whatever challenges people face, we can overcome them together.
Most people make a smooth transition to civilian life, but for a significant minority, civvy street can be a very tough and lonely place to start a new life.
When
people leave the Services, they can face all kinds of challenges. These include
mental health problems, physical disability, financial hardship and social
isolation. The ‘stay at home’ measures that have been in place have only made
matters worse.
What these veterans need most is someone who will walk alongside them and support them every step of the way. That’s exactly what we can do with your support. You can help the UK’s most vulnerable ex-servicemen and women overcome social isolation, homelessness and mental trauma.
A regular donation can be made to the charity monthly by Direct Debit. Please set-up a direct debit, here and for more information please contact Viveca Johnstone via email at viveca@wwtw.org.uk
Every penny you give helps people who are struggling to cope with mental trauma, financial hardship or feeling isolated after leaving the Services. Thank you!
Cost Effective
Monthly Giving lowers administration costs, which means that more of your money goes to were it is needed the most, rebuilding lives.
Long-term investment
Your month donation allows us to take a planned, long-term approach. As part of our troops you work side-by-side with us, making long-lasting improvements to veteran’s lives.
Beyond handouts
The individuals we support are not looking for handouts – they are working towards rebuilding their lives which are made possible by your monthly gifts.
