Free VIP Reading Half Marathon places thanks to Sage
Get fit and fundraise for Walking With The Wounded
Sage, Walking With The Wounded have been gifted five VIP places for this year’s
Reading Half Marathon – a fantastic opportunity to get fit and
raise money for those who served.
Taking place on Sunday 17 March, the race takes runners through Reading town centre, passing by the University and ending near the Madejski stadium where they will be cheered on to the finish line. With full access to Sage’s VIP hospitality suite after their triumphant completion of the run, participants will be able to celebrate their achievement alongside Sage employees as well as other charity runners.
Our wounded deserve our support and events such as this are pivotal in raising key funds in order for us as a charity to continue to help our veterans back into independence.
Reading is a popular half marathon as preparation for the London Marathon runners so sells out quickly. We have five, free places for runners who will confirm their commitment to raising at least £300 for Walking With The Wounded as part of Sage Foundation’s £1 Million Challenge.
What you need to do to get a place:
Email firstname.lastname@example.org with your name and preferred contact email address and that you understand you will need to set up a Virgin Money Giving page and fundraise £300 for Walking With The Wounded. Runners will be chosen on a first come, first served basis.
What your VIP package gets:
- A Sage Foundation $1-million-dollar challenge running t-shirt complete with the Walking With The Wounded logo
- Training support as part of our New Year New You through Sage Foundation programme
- Team Sage support on race day
- Access to the VIP hospitality suite after the race
