What makes successful people tick?

Join us for a motivational evening on Tuesday 18th July to discover which five 'great traits' drive remarkable individuals to outstanding achievements.

Tobias Harwood, founder of the Great Traits Project and author of 'Great Traits', a book which investigates the behaviour and beliefs behind phenomenal feats and those who achieve them - will be presenting an inspirational talk on the five great traits that he believes are the key to a true achiever.

Harwood will be joined on stage by one of those very people, Guy Disney. Disney is the first amputee jockey to win a horse race at a professional racecourse in Britain and the first ever amputee to walk to the North and South Poles as a member of Walking With The Wounded expedition teams

Both talks will endeavour to change your opinion of your own physical and mental potential.

Guy Disney is a British army veteran representing the charity Walking With The Wounded. In July 2009 whilst on patrol in Babaji, Afghanistan, Captain Guy Disney's troop came under heavy and sustained small arms fire from a well-concealed enemy ambush site. After being hit by a rocket propelled grenade, his right leg was amputated below the knee. In 2011, he was selected for the Walking With The Wounded North Pole expedition just months after his amputation. During this, Guy endured temperatures as low as -50’C and since completing it, he was also part of the Walking With The Wounded expedition that reached the South Pole in 2013.

Tobias Harwood is the author of Great Traits and the founder of the Great Traits Project. Since shattering his pelvis and fracturing his back aged seventeen he has been fascinated by the interaction between mindset and accomplishments. All the author’s proceeds from his book Great Traits are donated to the charity Walking With The Wounded, which will be available to purchase on the night.
