To highlight veteran's stories through the ages, Contact Armed Forces has created a video in partnership with Warner Bros. Pictures and the release of Dunkirk, to support the ongoing campaign to build awareness and conversations around mental health.
"On the face of it everything seemed fine, but behind closed doors, I was pressing the self-destruct button" - Gemma
As a partner of Contact - a collaboration of military charities aiming to make the pathway to mental health support as easy as possible for ex-servicemen and women - it's our job to share with you the importance of supporting our veterans. So ahead of the release of Dunkirk on 21st July, we are proud to tell the stories of veterans George, Gemma and Louis. In this short film, they each discuss their own experiences of serving in the Armed Forces as well as their journeys afterwards as veterans.
Dunkirk actor, Fionn Whitehead, introduces the film, sharing his support for our veterans and why we must continue to look after our troops.
"The only way we can learn in the present day, is to look back at history.”
Watch historian, Josh Levine share why we need to continue to share their stories.
