Captain Tom 100 Challenge
WWTW support a new fundraising challenge to celebrate what would have been Sir Tom’s 101st Birthday
From Friday 30th April to Monday 3rd May, Captain Sir Tom Moore’s Family, are asking everyone to dream up a challenge based around the number 100 and fundraise for their charity of choice or for the Captain Tom Moore Foundation.
Friday 30th April 2021 would have been Captain Sir Tom Moore’s 101st birthday and the one-year anniversary of his extraordinary garden challenge that raised an incredible £38.9 million for the NHS.
The NHS are WWTW’s principal partner and last year, WWTW partnered with the NHS to deliver a new High Intensity Service (HIS) for veterans in crisis. The new service ‘OP-COURAGE’ was launched in Autumn 2020 and WWTW are supporting the service roll-out in 4 different regions within 3 NHS Trusts, thus far supporting 34 clients.
Captain Sir Tom’s family are inviting the world to celebrate his life by capturing Sir Tom’s spirit of hope and joy that he brought to millions of people. They are asking the public to take on the Captain Tom 100 challenge and raise vital funds for charity.
