5k May: Run 5, Donate 5, Nominate 5
WWTW Head-Start therapists support the viral 5k May challenge
The viral 5k May challenge is back from 2020 is back! Run For Heroes was born in March 2020 as a response to the COVID-19 pandemic. They launched the viral fundraising campaign #Run5Donate5Nominate5 across social media last year raising £7 million for NHS Charities. Run for Heroes are a charity and their mission is to get as many people active as possible whilst raising vital funds for charity.
Last year, 20 of WWTW’s Head Start Therapists raised over £5,000 by completing the 2.6 Challenge to raise funds to support those who served. This year they are stepping forward to take part in 5k May which takes place during Mental Health Awareness week, 10-16 May to raise vital funds for WWTW
The 5k May challenge will take place from 1st to 31st May. It’s really easy to get involved, and your 5k can be done anywhere, anytime with anyone. It can be run, rolled, walked, cycled or even swam…It's about getting out and feeling good - all whilst raising funds to support ex-military and their families.
Participate in a 5k (run, walk, hop, roll), donate £5 to charity & nominate 5 friends to take part! After donating you’ll unlock an exciting goodie bag
