Project Nova relaunch Remembrance Day Poppy Pebble initiative
Following the initiative’s huge success last year, Project Nova are once again inviting the public to paint a poppy pebble and place it on a war memorial or headstone to mark Remembrance Day.
Last year, Project Nova started the Poppy Pebble initiative to support
veterans who were socially isolated and honour those who served our country. The
initiative caught the heart of the nation and the team at Project Nova were overwhelmed
with photos of poppy pebbles and stories from around the world.
Project
Nova is an initiative that is delivered as a partnership between WWTW and RFEA.
It supports vulnerable veterans and veterans who have been arrested and entered
Police Custody.
To get involved, or submit a painted poppy pebble image to Project Nova, email Viveca@wwtw.org.uk or visit their Facebook group.
