Joel Oxberry, WWTW Director of Income, said “We are excited to announce our new partnership with Sanctuary. Their commitment to supporting the veteran community aligns with WWTW’s ‘Client First’ value and, we look forward to working together on empowering the ex-military and their families through many different approaches including awareness, advocacy, and fundraising. We would like to thank Sanctuary and their team for championing our work. The impact of this partnership will be far-reaching.”
Katie Poole, Sanctuary’s Armed Forces Champion and Head of Housing, said: “As a large housing association and care provider, we have a range of ways we can support and work with the Armed Forces community, from providing interesting, stimulating jobs with real prospects and a supportive culture to housing veterans and their families.
“We’re always keen to do more and are delighted to be embarking on this exciting new partnership with WWTW. We look forward to working closely together and achieving positive impacts and outcomes for those in need of support.”
The partnership will be formally launched with a virtual event featuring senior members from both organisations speaking about future plans and events, and the overall partnership objective of supporting the veteran community.
