Sunday October 10th marks World Mental Health day, an international awareness day that brings the focus to global mental health awareness and education.

Over the past decade, Walking With The Wounded has pioneered ambitious expeditions around the world. We have taken teams of veterans to the North and South Poles, the slopes of Everest, walked the length of Britain, and crossed the USA.

WWTW supports those who have served. We have teamed up with CEO Sleepout to try and combat homelessness amongst individuals and veterans in the UK.

In partnership with South Shields Surf and Sea ( C ) Company, kindly funded by Inspire South Shields, WWTW NE launched our first 6-week North-East Veterans Surf programme.

Military charity Walking With The Wounded (‘WWTW’) is working in partnership with Skanska, one of the world’s leading project development and construction groups to raise vital funds to support those who served across the UK.

Walking With The Wounded (‘WWTW’) has revealed the final route for its 6th expedition, The Grenadier Walk of Oman, of which The Duke of Sussex is the Expedition Patron.

Not only have Yodel Ops exceeded the £2k goal since completing the challenge, but they have also raised an incredible £6,825 so far, taking them to the top of the fundraising leader board.

On Friday 1st October 2021, Walking With The Wounded’s largest Marathon des Sable (MdS) team are heading out to the Moroccan Sahara desert.

In just 2 days, Walking With The Wounded’s (‘WWTW’) biggest Marathon des Sables team will be heading to out to Southern Morocco to run the world’s toughest footrace.

On Saturday, October 2nd, 2021, military charity, Walking With The Wounded (‘WWTW’) will host 80 veterans from across Europe in an international football tournament at Allied Vehicles Groups Peugeot Ashfield Stadium, home of Glasgow Tigers Speedway.
