Walking With The Wounded has announced its 6th international expedition, The Grenadier Walk of Oman, of which The Duke of Sussex is the Expedition Patron, will now take place in the UK.

The expedition has been postponed twice due to the Covid-19 pandemic so, for certainty, the charity has reimagined it in the UK, so they can still showcase the value of veterans and raise funds and awareness of veteran issues, especially in light of the recent withdrawal of Western forces from Afghanistan.

In October 2021, an outstanding group of 19 ultra-runners will be taking on the infamous Marathon des Sables (MDS), a seven-day ultra-marathon in the heat of the Sahara Desert, in order to raise funds for WWTW’s work.
