After seeing the amazing work that a local North East charity does to support local disadvantaged people to get active through cycling, I realised this was a great opportunity for the Northern Care Coordination Partnership (‘NCCP’) veterans and some of their family members.

Ten years ago, Walking With The Wounded (‘WWTW’) was registered with the Charity Commission. At the time, we thought our expedition to the North Pole was going to be a one-off.

Today, marks our 10th Year Anniversary, a landmark milestone for the charity.

This year marks Walking With The Wounded’s 10th Year Anniversary, and as part of our celebrations, we are sending a team to the Sahara Desert in February to take part in the 100 KM Trek Challenge and raise vital funds for the Charity.
