On Monday 18th of October, just over 50 business leaders, owners, executives and senior leaders from the Manchester area joined the CEO Sleepout for an outdoor, overnight stay at Emirates Old Trafford Cricket Club, raising funds for people who have found themselves homeless.

Earlier this month, a team of wounded serving and ex-military took on The Grenadier Walk of Oman, of which The Duke of Sussex is the Expedition Patron, walking 350km from Pen-Y-Fan in Wales to the Anglo Omani Society in London.

A group of 3 beneficiaries (and hopefully more soon) have been attending a project weekly, alongside the EA, working with rangers on the Countryside Access Team.

Walking With The Wounded’s (‘WWTW’) latest expedition, The Grenadier Walk of Oman, reimagined in the UK, of which The Duke of Sussex is the Expedition Patron –has reached the finish line in London.

They have made it! The Grenadier Walk of Oman team has reached the official finish line at The Anglo Omani Society in London.

The NHS is the principal partner of Walking With The Wounded and our team works closely with NHS teams across the country to support with the delivery of mental health, employment and care coordination programmes for those who served and their family members.

When you join the Armed Forces, you join a close, tight-knit community and when ex-service personnel leave their career in the Armed Forces, often, the thing they cite as missing the most is the sense of camaraderie and brotherhood.
