The weather was glorious as we held our inaugural Golf Day on Tuesday 30th September at the superb Royal Norwich Golf Club in Norfolk.
Teams were invited to join us and fundraise to support our work in helping veterans to transition back to civilian life. The event saw businesses from a range of sectors gearing up for a day of golf and networking. It was a huge success, raising an impressive £4,000 which will help to fund our mental health, employment, and wraparound care coordination services, supporting veterans who have fallen the furthest get back on track and moving forward once again.
Speaking on the event, James Davis, Head of Events and Partnerships at Walking With The Wounded, said: “We are delighted to have recently hosted our inaugural golf day at the Royal Norwich Golf Club, a wonderful course with some great accompanying weather! We are extremely grateful to our event sponsors and the teams who took part and helped to raise money to support our vital work with veterans. A great day was had by all, and we are already looking forward to planning our golf day in 2026!”
A huge thank you to Royal Norwich Golf Club for hosting the event, to our sponsors Renewable Energy Marine Consultant, Puma, and Jacksons CRS, and to all of the teams who joined us on the day.
