A charity Golf Day, hosted by Westgate and Birchington Golf Club in Kent, has raised over £2,700 in aid of Walking With The Wounded.

The event took place on Friday March 13, 2026, and was attended by 44 golfers who came together for a day of friendly competition and fundraising. The day included different challenges, including longest drive, nearest to the pin in 1 and a team ball competition. Prizes and trophies were handed out to the competition winners. A raffle was also held alongside the golf day.

Speaking about the event, Tom Grimshaw, WWTW Partnerships Manager, said, “We’re grateful to Westgate and Birchington Golf Club and everyone who took part for supporting Walking With The Wounded. It’s incredible to see so many individuals and businesses rally behind the charity and choose to raise money for veterans and their families. The amount raised will go towards our core support programmes and will make a significant difference to those who served and who need our help.”
