We are thrilled to reveal that this year's Cumbrian Challenge was a record-breaking year, smashing through the £500k barrier. This will directly support those who have served to transition back to civilian life, rebuild their lives and keep moving forward.

Reacting to the total raised, James Davis, Head of Events & Partnerships, said : “What an incredible result. Everyone who took part in the Cumbrian Challenge this year should be extremely proud of their efforts. Each and every member of the teams that took part went above and beyond in their efforts to raise money for those who served; and their contributions will make a real difference for veterans, giving them hope for a future they previously couldn’t see.”

More than 850 people, making up over 200 teams, took on the physical challenge in the hills above Grasmere, Cumbria in May, faced three different routes from 14km with 761m ascent through to the most challenging at 27km and 1,411m ascent.
