Walking With The Wounded (WWTW) is pleased to receive continued support from St. James’s Place Charitable Foundation, which has donated £60,000 over 2 years to support a Care Coordinator in the North West and strengthen the charity's support for veterans in the region.

WWTW’s Care Coordination programme provides tailored social care support for veterans and their families. This includes helping with issues such as alcohol and drug misuse, housing and accommodation and debt relief.

The St. James’s Place Charitable Foundation funds small and medium-sized charities across the UK and overseas, working principally with children who are disadvantaged physically, socially or economically, but it also funds financial wellbeing, end of life care, mental health support charities and cancer support charities.

Tom Knight, WWTW Director of Services, commented: “We are grateful to St. James’s Place Charitable Foundation for their continued support of those who served. Our Care Coordination programme provides a lifeline for some of the most difficult-to-reach veterans across the country.

In 2025, our team supported 2,956 veterans through our core employment, mental health and support care coordination programmes. With the Foundation's generosity, we can extend support to more ex-service personnel and their families across the North West of England through this Care Coordinator role.”
