Walking With The Wounded is honoured to be supported by The English Distillery, which has released a special commemorative bottle to mark the 90th anniversary of the Spitfire. The charity will receive £2 from every bottle sold.

Based in Norfolk, the English Distillery is England’s oldest whisky distillery. WWTW has proudly partnered with the distillery for several years, receiving support from sales of commemorative bottles, including its VE-Day 80 whisky and D-Day 80 whisky.

Speaking about the partnership, Tom Grimshaw, WWTW Partnerships Manager, said: “We are grateful to The English Distillery for its continued support of the charity and the veterans we support. Funds raised through sales of the Spitfire whisky will go towards our employment, wraparound care coordination and mental health programmes, helping veterans navigate life after leaving the Armed Forces.”

Tony Hulton, WWTW CEO, added: “As we mark the 90th anniversary of the iconic Spitfire aircraft, The English Distillery has captured the Spitfire’s spirit in a special commemorative bottle. It is a fitting tribute to a much-loved British icon, while also helping to raise vital funds for Walking With The Wounded.”
