IT company ‘Networkology’ based in Corsham, Wiltshire are taking on the Three Peaks challenge on 21 September in aid of Walking With The Wounded.

The team of enthusiastic climbers from the organisation are undertaking the epic challenge on Saturday 21 September, which will see them conquering the three highest peaks in Scotland, England, and Wales, all within 24 hours. Their challenge will commence with Ben Nevis in Scotland, a 1,345-metre ascent, before moving on to the 978 meters that is Scafell Pike in England and finishing with one final push up Snowdon’s 1,085 metres in Wales. Covering a total walking distance of approximately 23 miles (37 kilometres), and a combined ascent of over 3,000 metres, the challenge will be a true test of the team’s mental and physical strength.

Speaking on the upcoming challenge, Kieran Jones, Technology Consultant at Networkology, said, “Going into this challenge, we know it’s not going to be easy, but we’ve got a great team together who will keep each other motivated throughout. We are proud to be a part of the Armed Forces Covenant and are deeply committed to supporting our Armed Forces. A key aspect of this commitment is assisting veterans through initiatives like our Networkology Veterans program, also known as NetVets.

Due to this, we’ve chosen to complete the challenge in support of Walking With The Wounded as the work they do perfectly aligns with our values.”

Tom Grimshaw, Relationships Manager, at Walking With The Wounded added: “The Three Peaks Challenge is known to be tough and a serious test of endurance, so hearing that the team at Networkology are willing to take it on in aid of Walking With The Wounded is amazing! Fundraising like this really helps us in continuing our work to support veterans throughout the UK, so we are extremely grateful for the dedication from the team and wish them the best of luck in the challenge.”
