Support Care Coordinator awarded Silver at the Northern Ireland Veteran Awards

Following her nomination at the prestigious Northern Ireland Veteran Awards, Louise, a Support Care Coordinator at Walking With The Wounded has been awarded Silver in the Health and Wellbeing category at this years awards ceremony.

The awards took place on 23^rd October in Belfast, celebrating the success of veterans after leaving service, and their contributions to business, fitness, sport and the wider community. The Health and Wellbeing Award recognises those that promote and encourage maintaining good health and wellbeing, both physically and mentally.

Commenting on her award, Louise said: “It is an honour to have been awarded Silver in the Health and Wellbeing category at the Northern Ireland Veteran Awards. The work we do at Walking With The Wounded is so important in helping veterans to find their place in society, and it is something we are all truly passionate about, so to be recognised for our work is wonderful. A huge well done to all other nominees and winners too.”
