From 11am on Saturday 02 Nomber until 11am on Sunday 03 November, Natalie Burn and fellow members of her local CrossFit community will be participating in several workouts in a 24-hour ‘Wod-a-thon’. Every hour, participants will take on a different challenging workout, all whilst wearing a 7k weighted vest. Each workout will be dedicated to a member of the Armed Forces who either lost their lives whilst deployed or died by suicide.

Speaking on her reasons for taking on the challenge, Natalie said: “I’m taking on this challenge in memory of service personnel who we’ve sadly lost. By fundraising for Walking With The Wounded, a charity who provide vital services to veterans, this is my way of giving back to those who have sacrificed everything for us. The challenge won’t be easy, but neither are the struggles that many veterans face, and I know that my CrossFit community will help to keep me going.”

Steph Bell, Fundraising Assistant at WWTW added: “The challenge that Natalie is taking on definitely isn’t for the fainthearted, and at WWTW we are so pleased to have supporters that are willing to push themselves in aid of us. Thanks to our supporters, we are able to provide our essential services to veterans in need throughout the UK, ensuring they receive the help they deserve."
